A man accused of abducting a woman and forcing her into his car has been arrested in Oregon.

Sheriff’s deputies say the woman was forced into the back seat of the car at a motel after a confrontation.

The woman’s husband says the woman threatened him and the man drove off with her.

Authorities say the suspect has been identified as Joseph K. Kuehnle, a 63-year-old from Bend, Oregon.

Authorities have identified the victim as 52-year old Melissa Farrar, of Pender, Oregon, according to the Pender County Sheriff’s Office.

Farrar had been missing since January 5, when she and her family left for an annual ski trip in Colorado.

They didn’t arrive at the ski resort in Pender until February 17.

Investigators say Farrars family has a history of domestic violence.
