NEW YORK — New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and players and staff members wore uniforms at the NFL owners meetings in Miami, Fla., in February.

The Patriots won three of the four meetings at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome during the 2016 season.

Newell is known for his attention to detail.

He has put a lot of thought into his uniform selection.

During a trip to Mexico in January, Belichick wore a blue jersey with a yellow stripe across the shoulders and sleeves.

At a private event in New York in May, Belichick told players that he had been wearing the same jersey for about 20 years.

In January, he wore a white jersey with yellow sleeves and a white stripe across his shoulders and the middle.

For the Patriots to win their third Super Bowl in six years, they would have to wear uniforms in uniform with their logo on them.
